I'm constantly recommending this to my friends. Definitely my favorite solo journaling rpg. Currently doing a letter-writing variant with my friends where our clique of monsters has an exchange diary where they talk about their weeks <3 It is SO fun!
When I do multiple years as a character, I make some alterations to the tables, but that's mostly to avoid repetition (ya girl was getting endless windstorms and eclipses at one point).
I like to keep the NPCs consistent throughout (so each card is always the same NPC until the character dies/gets expelled). No idea if that was intended use but!
